Q: Where can I get Terra Nova: The Search?

Q: Who is Terra Nova: The Search aimed at?
A: I was definitely aiming at an adult audience, though I think anyone high school and above would enjoy it. The book has a sci-fi bent, but it’s very mild. I’d like to think it’s more about the characters and the challenges they face. There are no strange alien beings here…yet.

For younger readers I have made a Youth Edition.

Q: What is different about the Youth Edition?
A: Since I teach junior high, I wanted to make a version of the book that would be better suited to that age group. To do that I’ve gone through and cleaned-up the little bits of language and alcohol present in the regular version. There is still some violence, including a scene where a character ponders suicide. There is no sex or drugs in the book. I’m comfortable rating the Youth Edition as PG, and the regular version as PG-13.

The book is similar in difficulty to most of the Harry Potter books.
